Median sold price of homes in all of Santa Clara county was up 10.50% year over year, and 5.12% year over year for condos in Q1. Most notable are Alviso (up 15.62% y/y) and Campbell (up 16.66% y/y). San Mateo County Market Report Q1 2017
There were less than two months inventory available on average at any given time in San Mateo County for Q1, causing for multiple bids and average sale prices exceeding the asking price throughout the entire quarter both for condos and for single family homes. This is a trend that has been consistent since at least Q2 of 2014, as noted in this report. Median sold price for homes increased by 10.87% year over year, and by 2.03% for condos.
