Campbell was incorporated into a city in 1952 after a history of lumber harvesting and hay cultivation.  Bordered by San Jose, Los Gatos and Saratoga, the city has a total of 5.9 square miles or 15 kilometers squared. Campbell's population as of the 2020 census was 43,959.  Median Household Income:  $130,171 and has 18,385 housing units.

Campbell lots tend to be more generous than most other cities nearby.  Many homes have a main house plus an Accessory Dwelling Unit, commonly referred to as an ADU, or granny unit.
